Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Inspector to join a growing manufacturing team in Garland, TX. Key Responsibilities
We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Inspector to join a growing manufacturing team in Garland, TX. This position plays a key role in ensuring raw materials, in-process components, and finished products meet established quality standards before shipment. The ideal candidate has experience working in a manufacturing environment, understands the quality inspection process, and is comfortable using precision measuring tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect raw materials, components, and finished products according to quality standards and customer specifications.
- Perform accurate measurements using calipers, micrometers, tape measures, and other inspection equipment.
- Monitor production and machine operations to verify product quality throughout the manufacturing process.
- Complete work orders, inspection reports, and production documentation accurately and on time.
- Identify, document, and report quality concerns while working with production personnel to resolve issues.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment while following all company and OSHA safety standards.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures including PPE requirements
Qualifications & Skills
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous quality inspection or manufacturing experience preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, safety rules, operating procedures, and other technical documents.
- Comfortable working with measurements, fractions, decimals, and basic mathematical calculations.
- Experience operating forklifts, overhead cranes, or side loaders is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and commitment to workplace safety.
- Ability to lift weight up to 50 pounds throughout the shift.
Work Environment
- Manufacturing environment with exposure to moving equipment and production machinery.
- Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required, including hard hats, safety glasses, and steel-toe safety shoes.
- Standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout the workday are required.
Employment Type & Compensation
- This is a Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire position
- Compensation: $18.00 – $21.00 per hour, based on experience
- Application Window: Open until filled
Work Schedule
- 1st Shift | Monday-Friday | 7:30am-4:00pm
