Job Summary
In this position, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, installing, and maintaining production equipment and facility systems in a safe and efficient manner. This role requires the ability to work independently, apply advanced mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills, and support manufacturing operations through preventative maintenance repair and continuous improvement activities.

Responsibilities
- Perform basic electrical troubleshooting using electrical meters and blueprints without supervision.
- Identify equipment in need of repair, replacement, or upgrades.
- Disassemble, diagnose, and repair mechanical failures independently.
- Read and interpret blueprints, mechanical schematics, diagrams, and basic electrical prints without supervision.
- Utilize electrical meters and basic electrical diagnostic tools.
- Perform required preventative maintenance (PMs).
- Install machinery and maintain all production equipment.
- Contact original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and technical service providers for troubleshooting support as needed.
- Apply strong mechanical knowledge to read and interpret mechanical schematics, blueprints, and diagnostic diagrams.
- Demonstrate general fabrication skills including: MIG and TIG welding, Plasma cutting, Oxy-acetylene torch cutting, and Band saw cutting
- Operate power tools, hand tools, and shop equipment safely and effectively.
- Preferred ability to operate lathe and mill equipment.
- Must adhere to all the PPE requirements to perform the job safely, this includes but is not limited to, eyes, hands, feet, and hearing protection.
Requirements
- Minimum four (4) years of hands-on experience in an industrial or manufacturing maintenance environment, OR · Minimum eight (8) years of field experience as an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic.
- Experience troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision and prioritize maintenance activities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience performing preventative maintenance (PMs) and responding to unplanned equipment downtime.
- Experience installing, repairing, and maintaining production machinery and facility systems.
- Forklift and scissor lift certification required or ability to obtain upon hire.
- Welding certifications (MIG and/or TIG) are preferred.
- Electrical, mechanical, or industrial maintenance certification preferred.
- HVAC, plumbing, or related trade certifications are preferred but not required.
- State or local trade licenses preferred where applicable.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds on an intermittent basis
Schedule: Will train on 1st shift 6 months –year and then switch to 2nd shift 3:30pm –2:30pm
