Vice President of Sales & Marketing
Must have a broad knowledge of all aspects of business associated with electronics/ electromechanical product sales, marketing and manufacturing. Knowledge of fundamental business skills and analysis, as well as the design process, is also necessary.
This role is a critical part of our long-term succession plan, offering a unique opportunity for an ambitious and experienced leader to take on increasing levels of responsibility, make a significant impact on our organizational growth, and grow into the COO role.
Responsible for Overall Product Line Management
- Oversee and manage sales and marketing efforts.
- Maintain and grow customer relationships.
- Deliver business outcomes by ensuring we stay ahead of customer needs, driving growth and retention.
- Provide input, leadership and oversight in the development, implementation, innovation, and refinement of products.
- Stay up to date on industry and technological developments to maintain competitive knowledge and edge.
- Forecast, track and measure monthly, quarterly and yearly sales.
- Work with manufacturing and other departments to ensure that monthly sales are met on time.
In addition to the responsibilities above, candidate will be responsible for working closely
across all disciplines within the organization to ensure:
- Team members are properly trained and supported
- Products are designed and manufactured to meet all applicable technical and
quality standards
- Manufacturing efficiencies are maximized and maintained
- Cost reduction opportunities are identified, analyzed, and pursued where appropriate
Candidate should have the experience and knowledge to be involved in the overall operations of the company and be able to work with other senior management to:
- Ensure the company’s operating goals and profitability are being met.
- Develop a strategic vision and plan for long term company success, growth, and direction
- Provide and nurture a positive environment for the company’s employee well-being and advancement.
Key Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering discipline (e.g., Electrical, Mechanical) Broad business knowledge: sales, engineering, finance and operations Industrial/manufacturing experience, preferred
- Leadership abilities
- Good business sense/judgement Critical thinking and problem solving Action/Results oriented
- Ability to manage, prioritize and execute on multiple programs to maximize value creation.
- Strong communication skills, verbal and written
- Extensive working knowledge of MS office software, including Excel
Preferred Qualifications:
Master of Business Administration (MBA) or other advanced degree
