Position Summary
In this position, you will weld large and small components such as steel tubing, aluminum, and stainless steel in flat, vertical, and overhead positions, assess welded surfaces, structures, and components to identify errors. Candidates must have experience in primarily TIG welding and MIG welding and must be proficient in TIG welding techniques, particularly on aluminum materials, to produce high-quality welds with minimal defects.  

Key Responsibilities  
  • Weld small and large components such as steel tubing, aluminum, and stainless steel.
  • Weld components in flat, vertical, and overhead positions.
  • Assess welded surfaces, structures, and components to identify errors.
  • Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures including PPE requirements to perform the job safely  
Qualifications & Skills
  • High school diploma required, and technical secondary education is preferred.    
  • Two years of experience working in a manufacturing environment.  
  • Must have experience in primarily TIG welding and MIG welding.
  • Proficiency in TIG welding techniques, particularly in aluminum materials, produces high-quality welds with minimal defects.
  • Ability to read and interpret welding symbols, blueprints, and engineering drawings.
  • Familiarity with different grades and types of aluminum and their corresponding welding requirements.
  • Weld components in flat, vertical, and overhead positions.
  • Assess welded surfaces, structures, and components to identify errors.
  • Weld small and large components such as steel tubing, aluminum, and stainless steel.
  • Must be able to read, write and comprehend plant directives written in English.
  • Ability to perform simple mathematics to comprehend and interpret process sheets, SOP manuals, tally sheets, etc. and to keep accurate account of materials used during manufacturing process including scrap amounts.
  • Physical strength sufficient to lift and carry up to 50 pounds on an intermittent basis
  • Frequent lifting, standing, bending & reaching required
Employment Type & Compensation
  • This is a Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire position
  • Pay rate is $22.00 – $25.00 per hour, based on experience  
  • Application Window: Open until filled  
Work Schedule
  •  Weekends | Friday-Sunday | 5:00 AM – 5:30 PM
