Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and self-directed Temporary Material Transition Specialist to support critical materials and warehouse transition. In this role, you will support day-to-day warehouse operations while executing and coordinating material transfers between facilities with minimal disruption to production.

We are seeking a highly organized and self-directed Temporary Material Transition Specialist to support critical materials and warehouse transition. In this role, you will support day-to-day warehouse operations while executing and coordinating material transfers between facilities with minimal disruption to production.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and execute physical material moves between facilities ensuring accuracy, traceability and continuity of supply during the transition.
- Develope, refine, or implement storage strategies (slotting/binning) to optimize space utilization, material flow, and pick efficiency at the destination facility
- Oversee and support receiving and shipping, maintain organized warehouse areas during and after material movers, and ensure proper handling and identification of materials throughout the transition
- Execute basic ERP/WMS transactions in Epicor, pull and review warehouse data such as inventory on-hand reports, transaction history, movements and activities, and provide data insights to support decision making during the transition
- Collaborate closely with the materials supervisor, production, quality, and logistics, aligning the material availability with production schedules and commitments. And provide concise statutes updates, risk, and mitigation plans throughout the transition life cycle.
- Adhere to all PPE requirements including eye, hand, feet and hearing protection.
Requirements
- Proven leadership experience in material handling, warehouse operations, or inventory control
- Working knowledge of receiving and putaway process, storage stratagey and binning, picking, shipping, and manifest creation
- Proficiency with basic ERP/WMS transactions (EPICOR preferred)
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently and take initiative
- Effective communication skills and comfort coordinating with multiple teams
- Prior experience supporting facility moves, warehouse consolidations or material transitions highly preferred
- Forklift experience or certification preferred
- Ability to adapt quickly in fast-paced, changing environments
