Position Summary  
We are searching for an experienced Assembler to support the assembly of high-quality transformer units in a manufacturing environment. This role is ideal for individuals with hands‑on manufacturing experience who are comfortable working with machinery, reading blueprints, and performing physically demanding work. Safety, accuracy, and attention to detail are critical to success in this position.  

Key Responsibilities
  • Read, comprehend, and execute processes according to work orders and blueprints to determine required materials and parts  
  • Operate coil winding machines to wind small inductors used in transformer units  
  • Operate light industrial machinery, including fabrication shears, strip steel shears, manual punch machines, porter saws, brakes, and punches  
  • Count, stack, and organize steel in accordance with blueprint specifications  
  • Gather materials and assemble transformer cores per drawings and work instructions  
  • Use an overhead crane to move completed components off machines safely  
  • Operate hand tools and power tools to support assembly operations  
  • Read and interpret winding diagrams and technical specifications  
  • Accurately read and measure using a tape measure down to 1/16 inch  
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area  
  • Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements
Qualifications & Skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience operating light industrial machinery including forklifts, overhead cranes, and scales. Forklift operation certification preferred
  • Ability to read, write, and comprehend plant directives written in English  
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality  
  • Ability to read, comprehend, and interpret blueprints, drawings, measurements and tolerances
  • Ability to lift and carry weight up to 50 lbs. Unassisted
  • Ability to work extended periods while standing, bending, and reaching
Employment & Compensation
  • This is a Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire position
  • Pay rate is $21.00 per hour
  • Application Window: Open until filled
Work Schedule
  • 2nd Shift | Monday – Friday | 3:00pm-11:30pm
