Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Warehouse Task Coordinator to support daily warehouse operations in a fast-paced distribution and packaging environment. Key Responsibilities
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Warehouse Task Coordinator to support daily warehouse operations in a fast-paced distribution and packaging environment. This position is responsible for coordinating workflow activities, monitoring inventory movement, assisting with shipping and receiving operations, and ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and accurately. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, the ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities, and a commitment to maintaining safety, quality, and productivity standards throughout the warehouse.
Key Responsibilities
- Manages the shipping workflow and other warehouse operations.
- Assigns tasks and work orders to warehouse associates.
- Maintains the daily shipping schedule.
- Reviews open and closed sales orders.
- Categorizes inventory and completes inventory tracking.
- Creates and files sales orders, productivity reports, packing lists, and other documentation.
- Works closely with the customer service team to resolve issues.
- Collaborates with the warehouse area manager and associates.
- Assists the operations department with fulfillment and quality control.
- Escalates issues to managers when necessary.
- Uses warehouse management systems (WMS) and Systems Applications and Products in Data Processing (SAP) software.
- Adheres to good manufacturing practices (GMP).
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures including PPE requirements to perform the job safely
Qualifications & Skills
- High school diploma or GED required
- Previous warehouse, distribution, logistics, or inventory coordination experience preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks and priorities
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Basic computer skills, including experience with warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory software, or Microsoft Office preferred
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in tracking inventory, shipments, and task completion
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Forklift experience or certification preferred but not required
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift weight up to 50 pounds as needed throughout the shift
- Commitment to workplace safety, quality standards, and attendance reliability
Employment Type & Compensation
- This is a Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire position
- Pay rate is $22.00
