Job Summary
We are searching for an experienced Systems Administrator to support operations for an established manufacturing and distribution organization. This individual will be responsible for maintaining stability across a legacy, on-prem IT environment while supporting a major ERP transition from Avante to NetSuite. This role plays a critical part in ensuring system reliability, operational continuity, and user support across corporate, manufacturing, and distribution environments during high-impact technology transformation.
We are searching for an experienced Systems Administrator to support operations for an established manufacturing and distribution organization. This individual will be responsible for maintaining stability across a legacy, on-prem IT environment while supporting a major ERP transition from Avante to NetSuite. This role plays a critical part in ensuring system reliability, operational continuity, and user support across corporate, manufacturing, and distribution environments during high-impact technology transformation.
Responsibilities
- Administer and support Windows Server environments, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365
- Maintain and support the existing Avante ERP system during the transition period
Provide internal IT support during the NetSuite ERP implementation and go-live - Manage user access, roles, permissions, and troubleshooting for NetSuite and integrated systems
- Support day-to-day IT operations for office, warehouse, and manufacturing users
- Monitor system uptime, backups, patching, and baseline security practices
- Troubleshoot networking issues including VPNs, DNS, DHCP, and connectivity
- Coordinate with NetSuite implementation partners, MSPs, and technology vendors
- Assist with documentation, system improvements, and IT best practices as systems modernize
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a Systems Administrator or infrastructure-focused IT role
- Strong experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365
- Experience supporting on-prem environments
- Background supporting ERP systems in a manufacturing or distribution setting
- Exposure to ERP implementations or migrations (NetSuite preferred; Epicor, Infor, Dynamics, etc. also acceptable)
- Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable working independently and owning IT responsibilities
- Experience supporting warehouse, plant-floor, or operational users strongly preferred
Schedule: 1st Shift, 9:00am – 5:00pm
