Job Summary
NCW’s Client is seeking an experienced Superintendent to lead on-site construction activities for large-scale commercial projects throughout Indianapolis and Southern Indiana.
NCW’s Client is seeking an experienced Superintendent to lead on-site construction activities for large-scale commercial projects throughout Indianapolis and Southern Indiana.
The Superintendent ensures successful project delivery by overseeing all on-site construction activities from inception to completion while upholding best practices in safety, quality, schedule, and cost. Projects typically serve institutional clients such as colleges and universities, K-12 school districts, municipalities, healthcare systems, and other public-sector organizations.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing all field operations from project start-up through final punch-out
- Coaching subcontractors on safe construction practices
- Overseeing quality control and ensuring deficiencies are corrected
- Maintaining the project schedule and managing the critical path for trades and vendors
- Facilitating subcontractor coordination and site logistics
- Collaborating with the design team and owner to resolve challenges and unforeseen conditions
- Reviewing drawings, specifications, and submittals
- Preparing daily progress reports and weekly schedule updates
Position Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of construction experience
- Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience in a field leadership role
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Extensive experience coordinating subcontractors and sequencing construction activities
- Working knowledge of ASIs, RFIs, and material submittals
- Technology proficiency: Microsoft Office, MS Project, and Procore
- Experience with CMAR and/or Design-Build delivery methods
- Team-oriented with a strong commitment to client service
- Willingness to travel within the state of Indiana
- OSHA 30 certification required
- Valid driver’s license required

- 1st, 8:00am-5:00pm
