Position Summary
We are seeking a reliable and bilingual (English/Spanish) Shipping and Receiving Clerk. This role involves handling shipping and receiving processes, heavy lifting, maintaining a clean and safe work environment, and contributing to a productive team atmosphere. Duties may include operating material moving equipment to load/unload trucks and move products within the warehouse; process orders including pulling, packing, shrink-wrapping, and labeling products.
Key Responsibilities
We are seeking a reliable and bilingual (English/Spanish) Shipping and Receiving Clerk. This role involves handling shipping and receiving processes, heavy lifting, maintaining a clean and safe work environment, and contributing to a productive team atmosphere. Duties may include operating material moving equipment to load/unload trucks and move products within the warehouse; process orders including pulling, packing, shrink-wrapping, and labeling products.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate forklift and load/unload pallets, trucks, and containers
- Pull and store orders in designated areas
- Move product to stations in warehouse via forklift and pallet jack
- Notify supervisor of maintenance required on forklift
- Shrink wrap and palletize product
- Remove marks from products and apply labels/UPC Codes
- Poly bag product and pack in boxes
- Process special packaging request
- Box up product, tape boxes, and apply appropriate labeling
- Use computer to generate labels, packing list and bills of lading for shipments
- Receive products from suppliers. Verify receipt of shipment against invoice and report finding to office
- Operate cardboard baler to recycle used cardboard
- Transport sample product to designated area
- Hang Flow Packs (packing material) in warehouse twice weekly
- Lift 25-50 lbs. Regularly, and occasionally above shoulder height
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures including PPE requirements to perform the job safely
Qualifications & Skills
- No prior experience or training needed
- Bilingual: Fluent in English and Spanish.
- Ability to operate a forklift and other warehouse equipment (certification preferred).
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Team-oriented with a commitment to safety and efficiency.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Physically capable of performing repetitive tasks and lifting to 50 lbs. Regularly.
Employment Type & Compensation
- This is a Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire position
- Pay rate is $16.50 per hour, paid weekly
