The Opportunity
Our client, a respected and growing commercial general contractor, is seeking an experienced Senior Superintendent to lead field operations on complex, high-profile projects across Colorado. This role is ideal for a construction leader who thrives in dynamic environments and takes pride in delivering exceptional projects with precision, safety, and strong team coordination.
Projects may include:
- Multifamily developments
- Luxury condominiums
- Resort / hospitality properties
- Historic restoration / renovation
- Municipal / public sector work
The first assignment will most likely be based in Steamboat Springs, CO, with future projects throughout the Rocky Mountains and Front Range.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide overall field leadership from mobilization through project completion
- Manage daily jobsite operations, logistics, and sequencing
- Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and field staff
- Maintain strict adherence to safety standards and quality control
- Drive schedule performance and proactively address delays
- Partner with Project Managers to ensure budget and scope alignment
- Lead and mentor Assistant Superintendents and field personnel
- Conduct site meetings and maintain clear communication with stakeholders
- Ensure work is performed in accordance with plans, specs, and local codes
What We’re Looking For
- 7+ years of proven experience as a Superintendent / Senior Superintendent
- Strong background in one or more of the following:
- Multifamily
- Luxury condos
- Resort / hospitality
- Historic restoration
- Municipal / public projects
- Ability to manage complex, multi-trade construction projects
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills
- Strong scheduling and coordination capabilities
- Deep knowledge of construction methods, safety, and QA/QC
- Comfortable working in mountain environments and variable conditions
Tenure & Stability (Highly Important)

Preferred tenure profile:
- No more than 2 employers in the past 5 years,
OR
- No more than 3 employers in the past 10 years
Candidates demonstrating strong project ownership and longevity will be prioritized.
Travel Requirements
- Willingness to travel and temporarily work on projects in the Rocky Mountains
- Ability to be onsite for extended durations when assigned to remote locations
