Position Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician to support manufacturing operations in Riverside, CA. This hands-on role is responsible for advanced troubleshooting, diagnostics, repair, and preventive maintenance of industrial production equipment and facility systems.

The ideal candidate is a strong problem solver with solid mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills, PLC/controls experience, and a reliability-focused mindset. This position goes beyond repairing equipment failures by identifying root causes, implementing corrective actions, improving equipment reliability, and supporting continuous improvement throughout the facility.

Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial production equipment and facility systems using mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and controls knowledge.
  • Troubleshoot electrical systems, PLCs, controls, and automated equipment using schematics, prints, electrical diagrams, and other technical documentation.
  • Perform preventive maintenance inspections and repairs while identifying opportunities to improve equipment uptime, reliability, and performance.
  • Conduct root-cause analysis on recurring equipment failures and implement corrective actions to prevent repeat issues.
  • Rebuild, overhaul, align, and make precision adjustments to automated equipment, including CNC machinery and other manufacturing systems.
  • Support equipment installations, maintenance projects, outside contractors, work orders, and continuous/process improvement initiatives.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience with a 2-year technical degree/certificate, or 7+ years of relevant industrial maintenance experience.
  • Strong multi-craft maintenance background with demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical problems independently.
  • Experience with PLC/controls troubleshooting, electrical diagnostics, and reading electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical schematics.
  • Strong root-cause analysis and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify equipment issues and develop effective corrective actions.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize multiple tasks, communicate effectively, and mentor less-experienced maintenance team members.
Additional Qualifications:
  • Experience with automated manufacturing equipment such as CNC machines, robotic equipment, laser cutting systems, paint-line equipment, welding equipment, or powered industrial equipment is highly valued.
  • Welding experience is preferred.
  • Experience with equipment reliability, preventive maintenance, and continuous/process improvement.
  • Must be comfortable working with maintenance equipment and in tight spaces and at elevated heights, including ladders and lifts up to 35 feet.
  • Ability to lift and maneuver materials and supplies weighing up to 40 lbs.
  • A valid driver's license is required.
  • Must be willing to complete additional training on automated equipment and facility systems as needed.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
Schedule:
  • 1st Shift | 6:00 am – 2:30 pm
Compensation:
  • $28.00 – $40.00 per hour, based on experience
