Position Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Sales Associate to support outside sales representatives and assist in achieving company revenue goals. This position plays a key role in maintaining strong customer relationships, processing sales-related activities, coordinating communication between departments, and ensuring excellent customer service throughout the sales process. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment while supporting both internal teams and external customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide support for Outside Sales Representatives.
  • Facilitate new customer onboarding objectives.  
  • Coordinate, prioritize, assign and secure wins for all open daily rental quotes.
  • Provide administrative support for the Company.
  • Develop and maintain vendor and customer relationships.
  • Make outbound sales calls.
  • Make accounts receivable calls on open sales invoices.
  • Process customer quotes and sales orders in RentalMan and other company software.
  • Ensure that all customer orders are processed and shipped in a timely fashion.
  • Ensure that all pricing, materials, and quantities received by the customer are verified and correct.
  • Ensure that all customer orders are invoiced in a timely fashion.
  • Research and problem solve customer inquiries in a timely fashion.
  • Provide customers with technical information regarding signs and product specifications.
  • Continually build and maintain a working knowledge of our products and services.
  • Communicate the status of all open sales orders to the customer and sales team.
  • Register for, assist in setting up / takedown, and management of trade show booths.
  • General office duties such as filing, mailing invoices, general housekeeping, etc.
  • Answer phones in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Load customer sales and equipment orders.
  • Perform additional initiatives to increase sales of Work Zone Products.

Qualifications & Skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with an aptitude for building relationships with team members inside and out of the organization.
  • Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated; capable of taking initiative, successfully handling, and prioritizing multiple competing assignments, and effectively managing deadlines.
  • A passion for working in a high-growth business at the pace and expectations of the culture.
  • A passion for success, a positive and friendly attitude, and a consistent work ethic is all a must.
  • Intermediate computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office.
  • Working knowledge of office equipment including copier, fax, scanner, and postage.
Employment Type & Compensation
  • This is a Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire position
  • Pay rate is $21.54 – $32.31 per hour, based on experience
  • Application Window: Open until filled  
Work Schedule
  • Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
