Job Summary

We are searching for a Robotic Welder to join our team in Lancaster, SC. In this position you will operate and maintain robotic welding equipment to join metal components together in accordance with engineering specifications, quality standards, and production schedules. The Robotic Welder will be responsible for loading and unloading parts, setting up fixtures, adjusting weld parameters, performing basic programming edits and touch-ups, and conducting routine inspections to ensure weld integrity and consistency. This role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to read blueprints and welding symbols, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Responsibilities
  • Operate Robotic Welding Equipment: Set-up, program, and operate robotic welding systems to automate the welding process
  • Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on robotic welding machines to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime
  • Quality Control: Monitor the welding process to ensure consistent quality and adherence to specifications, performing inspections as necessary
  • Collaboration: Work closely with production and engineering teams to optimize welding parameters and improve production efficiency
  • Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment

Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1-3 years of MIG/TIG welding experience in a manufacturing environment.  
  • Robot welder experience preferred
  • Must be able to pass an onsite welding test prior to hiring and must bring your own personal helmet and gloves
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols
  • Working knowledge of welding techniques, spot welding, robotic systems
  • Attention to detail to ensure high-quality welds and adherence to specifications
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, mechanically inclined
  • Conduct routine visual inspections to ensure weld integrity and consistency
  • Ability to work for extended periods of time standing in one place with spot-welding pieces consistently.  
  • Wear required PPE which may include welding helmets, safety glasses, welding gloves, fire-resistant clothing, welding aprons or jackets, welding boots, welding hats.

Schedule
  • Days: 6:00am-4:00pm | Monday-Friday | Overtime available
