Responsibilities:
We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused Resistance/Spot Welder to join a manufacturing team in Charlotte, NC. This is an entry-level opportunity with no prior welding experience required. The selected candidate will receive on-the-job training while performing repetitive spot welding and assisting with the fabrication of customer assemblies. Responsibilities:
- Perform repetitive resistance/spot welding according to drawings, production specifications, and established procedures.
- Inspect welded assemblies to ensure quality and required tolerances are met.
- Complete production and quality documentation accurately.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Learn and perform welding, grinding, material handling, and packaging tasks.
- Operate forklifts and overhead cranes as trained and authorized.
Requirements:
- No prior welding experience required; on-the-job training provided.
- Ability to work in a repetitive, production-based environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to follow safety policies, procedures, and training requirements.
- Ability to maintain a clean and orderly work area.
- Forklift and crane experience are a plus but not required.
Schedule:
- 2nd Shift | Monday – Friday | 1:00 pm – 9:00 pm
Compensation:
- $18.00 per hour
