Position Summary

As a Quality Technician, you will be responsible for performing incoming, in-process, and final inspections, verifying product dimensions, conducting visual inspections, documenting results, recording nonconformances, supporting investigations, communicating concerns, and following ISO-based procedures, ensuring parts meet customer and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections
  • Verify product dimensions using measurement tools
  • Conduct visual inspections for defects and conformity
  • Document inspection results
  • Record nonconformances and support root cause investigations
  • Communicate quality concerns with production and engineering teams
  • Follow ISO-based quality procedures
  • Follow company safety policies and procedures including PPE requirements
  • Additional tasks as needed
Requirements
  • Auditing and other ISO certification experience a plus
  • Experience in paint/coating quality inspection
  • Powder or wet paint inspection experience preferred
  • Working knowledge with ISO Auditing
  • Working knowledge with standard color and paint inspection requirements
  • Basic computer/ ERP skills
  • ERP, advanced databases and reporting
  • Ability to read blueprints
  • Proficiency with measuring tools
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written  
  • Strong attention to detail  
  • Steel toed shoes required  
Schedule and Pay
  • Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire position
  • 1st Shift | Monday-Friday | 6:00am-2:30pm
  • Pay rate: $24.00-$26.00, based on experienced
  • Application window: Open until filled
Additional Information
  • This position will take place on the shop floor/paint line  
  • In the summer months temperature is hotter
  • Must be able to lift weights up to 50 lbs.
  • Able to stand or walk for extended periods of time
  • Must be able to travel when required
