Job Summary


We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Inspector to join our high-tech manufacturing team. You will be responsible for first article, in-process, and final inspections of complex electronic and mechanical assemblies to ensure 100% conformance to customer specifications.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspection: Perform visual and technical inspections on PCBs, custom wire harnesses, sheet metal, and electromechanical systems using microscopes, calipers, and multimeters.
  • Documentation: Accurately record inspection results and manage non-conforming materials, routing items for rework as needed.
  • Quality Support: Collaborate with engineering and production teams to support corrective actions and continuous improvement (Lean/5S) initiatives.
  • Compliance: Maintain an ESD-compliant work environment and ensure all testing equipment is calibrated and functional.
Qualifications:
  • Experience: 5+ years of quality inspection experience in electronic or high-tech contract manufacturing.
  • Technical Skills: Ability to read/interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and assembly drawings.
  • Product Knowledge: Strong understanding of PCB assembly (SMT, through-hole, hand soldering) and electronic component identification.
  • Tools: Proficient with precision measuring tools (micrometers, gauges) and basic MS Office.
  • Communication: Strong English verbal and written skills for technical documentation.

Preferred Skills:
  • IPC Certifications (A-600, A-610, or WHMA-A-620).
  • Experience with ERP systems (Epicor preferred).
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and 5S principles.

Schedule:  
  • 1st Shift | Monday – Thursday | 5:00 AM – 3:30 PM
