Job Summary
NCW is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee structural and miscellaneous steel projects from contract review through fabrication and field coordination. This role requires strong communication, drawing review skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced steel fabrication environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Review contracts, drawings, specs, and project documentation
- Manage project logs, schedules, submittals, RFIs, and change orders
- Serve as primary contact for GCs on submittals and scheduling
- Coordinate with detailing, production, and field teams
- Monitor Tekla production and shop schedules
- Support field crews with accurate drawings, material delivery, and site readiness
- Ensure safety documentation and requirements are completed
Required Qualifications and Skills
- 3–5+ years in structural or miscellaneous steel fabrication
- Ability to read and interpret shop and design drawings
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Steel fabrication shop experience required
- Preferred: Tekla, AutoCAD, PowerFab, Bluebeam, Procore, MS Office
