Job Summary

This role is ideal for a detail‑driven, collaborative professional who can manage multiple K‑12 projects and keep them aligned with standards, budgets, and timelines.

You will lead budgeting, scheduling, design reviews, and value‑engineering while working closely with architects, engineers, and district leaders. This role is ideal for a detail‑driven, collaborative professional who can manage multiple K‑12 projects and keep them aligned with standards, budgets, and timelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead preconstruction efforts for K-12 projects, including estimating, budgeting, and value engineering.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and internal operations teams to develop accurate scopes and schedules.
- Support project handoff to operations while managing risk, cost accuracy, and owner expectations.
Qualifications & Skills
- Previous Experience Needed:
5–10 years of construction experience with a focus on K-12 preconstruction, including estimating, budgeting, value engineering, and early project planning. - Proven experience supporting school districts, bond programs, and public-sector procurement processes.
- Certifications Needed:
CCM, PMP, or DBIA preferred. OSHA 30 is a plus. - Licenses Required:
Valid driver’s license for occasional travel to client meetings or job sites. - Proficient with estimating and preconstruction software such as Bluebeam, Excel, and industry estimating tools (Sage, Destini, or similar).
- Strong preconstruction leadership with experience developing budgets, schedules, and bid packages for K-12 projects.
- Ability to collaborate with design teams, operations, and owners to drive accurate planning and risk mitigation.
