Position Summary
The Material Handler supports receiving, dock put‑away, inventory movement, and general warehouse operations to ensure the right materials are in the right place at the right time. Assignments may vary based on business needs, training, and workload.

The Material Handler supports receiving, dock put‑away, inventory movement, and general warehouse operations to ensure the right materials are in the right place at the right time. Assignments may vary based on business needs, training, and workload.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct material transactions according to production schedules and Epicor (ERP) system signals.
- Support receiving, dock put‑away, and internal material movement to designated locations.
- Read, understand, and follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) required to safely operate equipment and support production.
- Learn to pull, issue, and transfer parts within Epicor.
- Learn to operate and become certified on various forklifts and material handling equipment.
- Read and understand job travelers, sales orders, and system‑generated workflow assignments.
- Perform cycle counts and support inventory accuracy.
- Clean, restock, and organize warehouse and material storage areas.
- Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient work environment
- Adhere to all PPE and safety requirements, including eye, hand, foot, and hearing protection
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Ability to read instructions, safely operate equipment, and visually inspect purchased parts.
- Strong attention to accuracy, quality, and timeliness.
- Strong organizational and coordination skills
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Communication skills, ability to read and write and understand plant directives in English
- Ability to stand, bend, reach, and lift frequently throughout the shift
Additional Qualifications (Preferred)
- Basic computer skills with accurate data entry experience.
- Prior experience receiving, issuing, or transferring materials.
- Ability to perform simple math to interpret:
- SOP manuals
- Process sheets
- Inventory and tally documentation
- Previous forklift or warehouse experience (certification provided as needed).
Employment & Compensation
- Employment Type: Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire
- Pay Rate: $20 per hour
- Schedule: 2nd shift: Monday-Thursday | 3:30pm – 2:00am
