Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician II to support manufacturing operations through equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair. This role is responsible for maintaining production uptime, performing preventative maintenance, and ensuring all equipment and facility systems operate safely and efficiently. Ideal candidates are self-sufficient, mechanically inclined, and experienced across multiple maintenance disciplines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform all work safely using approved equipment and procedures  
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical and basic electrical issues with minimal supervision  
  • Perform preventative maintenance (PMs) on production equipment and facility systems  
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and diagrams for diagnostics and repair
  • Disassemble, repair, and reassemble machinery and components  
  • Install, maintain, and upgrade production equipment and systems  
  • Support facility maintenance including plumbing, HVAC, and general repairs  
  • Perform fabrication work (MIG/TIG welding, plasma cutting, torch cutting, band saw)  
  • Maintain and repair pneumatic and hydraulic systems  
  • Coordinate with OEM technical support and assist external contractors as needed  
  • Operate forklifts and scissor lifts safely  
  • Maintain clean, organized work areas and manage maintenance inventory  
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and team performance goals
  • Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures including PPE requirements
Qualifications & Skills
  • High school diploma or GED required  
  • 4+ years of industrial maintenance experience with technical training, or 8+ years of hands-on experience  
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with working knowledge of electrical systems and tools
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents and work instructions (English)  
  • Experience with fabrication, hydraulics, pneumatics, plumbing, and HVAC systems
  • Proficient with power tools; lathe and mill experience preferred  
  • Ability to work flexible hours and participate in on-call rotation  
  • Willingness to train on day shift for 6–12 months  
Employment Type & Compensation
  • This is a Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire position
  • Pay rate is $20.00 per hour
  • Application Window: Open until filled
Work Schedule
  • Will train on 1st shift for 6 months then transition to 2nd shift
