Position Summary
We are searching for an experienced Machinist for an established metal fabrication shop in Dallas, TX. This is not an urgent or high-turnover role – the goal is to connect with a professional who understands the craft, the equipment, and the responsibility that comes with running large brake machines.
This position involves operating a mix of older heavy-tonnage press brakes (600-ton class) with new CNC press brake equipment. The right person will be comfortable working with both traditional mechanical systems and modern computer-driven controls.
What You’d Be Working With

This position involves operating a mix of older heavy-tonnage press brakes (600-ton class) with new CNC press brake equipment. The right person will be comfortable working with both traditional mechanical systems and modern computer-driven controls.
What You’d Be Working With
- Operate large-tonnage press brake equipment; CNC press brakes (AccuPress or similar)
- Back gauges, tooling changes, and precision set-ups
- Blueprint-driven production with tight tolerances
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while following OSHA regulations, PPE requirements, and company policies.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience operating press brake machines
- Experience with CNC heavy-tonnage press brakes (600-ton class)
- Strong understanding of press brake mechanics and forming principles
- Computer-literate; comfortable with CNC controls and adjustments
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, bend sequences, and specifications
- Experience with set-ups, first-article inspections, and quality checks
- Knowledge of tooling selection, tonnage calculations, and material behavior
- Takes pride in accuracy, safety, and consistent workmanship
PPE Requirements
- Steel toe shoes, safety glasses, gloves – potential hearing protection
Employment Type & Compensation
- Full-Time | Direct Hire position
- Compensation: $70,720.00 annually
- Application Period: This position will remain open until filled
Work Schedule
- 1st Shift | 6:00 am – 2:30 pm or 7:00 am – 3:30 pm
