We are searching for an experienced Material Handler / Machine Shop Utility Worker to support day-to-day operations at client’s Wellford, SC facility. This role is a key support position within the shop, responsible for keeping machines running efficiently by ensuring material flow, staging, and general shop support.

Key Responsibilities
- Support production by moving, staging, and pulling material from machines and work centers
- Assist operators by ensuring material is available and cleared as jobs are completed
- Load and unload material using forklifts and overhead cranes
- Perform general machine shop utility work, assisting across multiple work areas as needed
- Handle raw material, WIP, and finished goods throughout the shop
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Occasionally assist with machine operation or basic machine tasks when trained
- Follow all safety, quality, and attendance expectations including PPE requirements
Requirements
- Prior machine shop, fabrication, or manufacturing floor experience
- Experience handling materials in a production environment
- Forklift and/or overhead crane experience preferred
- Strong safety awareness and reliable attendance
- Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced shop environment
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and team-first mindset
- Physical ability to lift weight up to 50 lbs.
- Safety glasses, hand protection, safety toe shoes are required
Schedule & Compensation
- Employment Type: Urgent Need | Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire
- Pay Rate: $25.00-$27.00 per hour, based on experience
- Schedule: 1st Shift | Monday-Friday | 6:30am-5:00pm
