Job Summary
We are seeking a Cable Print Machine Operator to support our client’s manufacturing operation on the 2nd shift. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating cable print and extrusion equipment in a high-volume manufacturing environment, ensuring quality cable products are produced in accordance with job orders, specifications, and standard operating procedures (SOPs). This is a hands-on role for individuals with mechanical, machine operation experience, and a strong commitment to safety and quality.  

Responsibilities
  • Safely operate the cable print machine and extrusion line to manufacture cable products that meet quality standards  
  • Read, understand, and execute job orders and production requirements  
  • Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) related to machine operation and product manufacturing  
  • Perform required quality control checks and inspections to ensure products meet specifications  
  • Accurately complete and maintain all required production documentation, including daily production reports, tally sheets, and scrap reports  
    Enter production data and documentation into Epicor  
  • Set up, operate, and disassemble equipment using appropriate hand tools  
  • Monitor equipment performance and report issues or concerns as needed  
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area  
  • Perform additional duties and projects as assigned

Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years of experience operating manufacturing or production machinery, or demonstrated mechanical ability and aptitude to learn equipment operation  
  • At least 2 years of experience working in a manufacturing environment preferred  
  • High school diploma or GED required  
  • Technical or vocational training in manufacturing, industrial technology, or a related field preferred  
  • Experience working with ERP or production tracking systems (Epicor preferred)  
  • Familiarity with quality control processes and documentation in a production environment  
  • Ability to pass a preemployment physical and drug screening
  • Cable print machine and extrusion line equipment  
  • Manufacturing and production machinery used in cable fabrication  
  • Hand tools used for equipment setup, teardown, and operation  
  • Must be able to lift 50lbs.  
  • Must adhere to all the PPE requirements to perform the job safely; this includes but is not limited to, Eye, Hand, Feet, and Hearing protection.  
Schedule: 2nd Shift | 3:30am – 2:00am
