Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Forklift Operator to join a growing warehouse and distribution team in Charlotte, NC. This position is responsible for safely operating reach trucks and other material handling equipment to move, store, locate, and transport inventory throughout the facility. Candidates must have recent reach truck experience within the last 3 months and a minimum of 2 years of forklift operating experience in a warehouse or distribution environment.
Key Responsibilities
We are seeking an experienced Forklift Operator to join a growing warehouse and distribution team in Charlotte, NC. This position is responsible for safely operating reach trucks and other material handling equipment to move, store, locate, and transport inventory throughout the facility. Candidates must have recent reach truck experience within the last 3 months and a minimum of 2 years of forklift operating experience in a warehouse or distribution environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate reach trucks and other powered industrial equipment to transport, stack, and relocate materials.
- Load and unload trucks while ensuring products are handled safely and accurately.
- Work efficiently in narrow aisles and tight warehouse spaces while maintaining safety standards.
- Position and operate equipment while driving in reverse for extended periods as required.
- Perform daily equipment inspections, battery checks, and basic preventative maintenance tasks.
- Utilize RF scanners, inventory systems, and warehouse procedures to maintain accurate inventory control.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures including PPE requirements to perform the job safely
Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum of 2 years of recent forklift operating experience in a warehouse or distribution environment.
- Reach truck experience within the last 3 months is required.
- Comfortable driving and operating a forklift in reverse for extended periods.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. as needed and work in varying warehouse temperatures.
- Strong attention to safety, accuracy, and following operational procedures.
- May be required to use RF scanner gun.
- A clean driving record and a valid state motor vehicle operator’s license may be required
Employment Type & Compensation
- This is a Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire position
- Pay rate is $17.50 – $18.50 per hour, based on shift

- Days | Saturday – Tuesday | 7:00 AM – until job is completed
- Days | Monday – Friday | 7:00 AM – until job is completed
