Position Summary
The Kitting/Warehouse Worker position for our busy, client-focused warehouse requires dependability and organization to handle day-to-day duties with a focus on efficiency and time management. This position is responsible for all general warehouse functions including (but not limited to) janitorial needs, quality control, forklift operations, and other duties assigned by direct supervisors
Key Responsibilities
The Kitting/Warehouse Worker position for our busy, client-focused warehouse requires dependability and organization to handle day-to-day duties with a focus on efficiency and time management. This position is responsible for all general warehouse functions including (but not limited to) janitorial needs, quality control, forklift operations, and other duties assigned by direct supervisors
Key Responsibilities
- Manages and maintains labeling compliance according to product safety policy
- Pack finished parts into boxes according to customer specifications, taping and labeling each one and placing on pallets as completed
- Ensures that all products leaving the packing area are top quality and condition.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment with warehouse sanitation schedules.
- Clear and clean job areas of debris and trash.
- Assist supervisors with special projects in the warehouse.
- Pallet projects such as case picking, stretch wrapping pallets, unwrapping cases, etc.
- Check pick sheets loaded onto outbound trucks.
- Verify BOL’s match pallets from inbound loads.
- Aid in inventory preparation by moving pallets and counting them as needed.
- Perform warehouse maintenance duties.
- Clear and clean job areas of debris and trash.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while following OSHA regulations, PPE requirements, and company policies.
Qualifications & Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous warehouse, receiving, inventory, or logistics experience preferred.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory management systems.
- Ability to read and understand shipping documents and purchase orders.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to work standing for extended periods
- Ability to lift, carry, bend, twist, reach, and assemble products throughout the day
Employment Type & Compensation
- Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire position
- Compensation: $18.00 per hour
- Application Period: This position will remain open until filled
Work Schedule
- Monday – Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM | OT as required
