Position Summary
We are seeking dependable General Laborers/Helpers to support a short-term manufacturing project in Winston-Salem. This position involves handling welded metal components, stacking and bundling materials, performing paint touch-ups, and assisting with general production tasks. The ideal candidate is reliable, safety-conscious, and comfortable working extended shifts in a hands-on environment.
Key Responsibilities
We are seeking dependable General Laborers/Helpers to support a short-term manufacturing project in Winston-Salem. This position involves handling welded metal components, stacking and bundling materials, performing paint touch-ups, and assisting with general production tasks. The ideal candidate is reliable, safety-conscious, and comfortable working extended shifts in a hands-on environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Stack and organize welded metal pieces safely and efficiently.
- Bundle finished materials according to production requirements.
- Use an air spray gun to apply paint touch-ups to 6×6 plates.
- Operate a grinder as needed and in accordance with safety procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow all workplace safety procedures and instructions.
Qualifications & Skills
- Previous general labor, manufacturing, welding, or warehouse experience is helpful but not required.
- Ability to perform repetitive physical tasks and remain on your feet for extended periods.
- Ability to safely lift, move, stack, and bundle materials.
- Comfortable working 10–12 hour shifts.
- Must be dependable and able to complete the full temporary project.
- Must wear long pants and steel-toed boots.
- Ability to work safely around metal, paint, grinders, and other production equipment
- PPE will be provided
Schedule & Compensation
- 6:00 am – 4:00 pm
- $19.00 per hour
Job Type & Application Period
- This is a temporary project expected to last approximately 3 weeks
- This position will remain open until filled
