Job Title: Fabricator
Location: Springfield, MO
Salary: $38,001.60-$46,030.40 annually, DOE
Schedule: Monday-Friday | Weekends as needed

Job Summary
NCW is currently seeking a Fabricator for a position based at a manufacturing facility in Springfield, MO. This is a hands-on skilled role suited for individuals with foundational experience in welding and grinding, especially stainless-steel work. Responsibilities cover a wide range of shop-floor tasks including manual welding and grinding, machine operation, equipment rigging, and basic electrical assembly.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform stainless steel welding, grinding, and cutting operations in all positions
  • Set up and operate machines (presses, shears, saws, punches, etc.) per blueprints
  • Operate mobile crane equipment under 20,000 lbs. and assist with rigging/hoisting of equipment
  • Operate spray foam insulation, sandblast, and painting equipment
  • Perform tinning, complex soldering, and resistance welding (spot/seam)
  • Assemble motor controls and complete three-phase wiring using ladder diagram
  • Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and specifications
  • Coordinate warehouse activities including receiving, inventory, and special orders
  • Maintain safe, clean work practices and follow company procedures
  • Other related duties as assigned

Required Qualifications and Skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Basic knowledge of blueprint reading, welding, and grinding
  • Working knowledge of blocking, clamping, and holding parts to avoid distortion and conform with normal shop tolerances and specifications
  • Understanding of abrasives, conditions of metal and finish are necessary
  • Ability to read, interpret and work from blueprints, sketches and other specifications with proficiency
  • Ability to lift to 50 lbs. (assistance and lifting equipment provided)
  • Willingness to work in variable environmental conditions (dust, noise, seasonal temps)
