The AC Service Technician performs general service and maintenance tasks at assigned contract facilities. This role maintains strong customer relationships, understands facility needs, and ensures timely, effective service. Responsibilities include executing daily service plans, resolving customer issues, preparing service reports, and supporting maintenance documentation and cost proposals.
Job Duties
- Work with the Service Manager and client to perform maintenance tasks such as filter changes, certifications, instrument calibrations, and other services per contract requirements.
- Provide responsive customer service and follow through on requests.
- Maintain a solid understanding of all product lines, equipment, and procedures.
- Perform preventive maintenance, site surveys, and equipment modifications.
- Identify required repair parts and timelines.
- Assist with coordinating and quoting service orders.
- Follow all applicable quality and safety standards.
- Adhere to company, customer, and OSHA safety procedures; report potential safety issues.
- Prepare service reports and document completed work, noting future service needs.
- Maintain required vaccinations (tetanus, Hepatitis B, meningococcal, TB).
- Communicate ongoing work plans and long-term needs to management.
Requirements
- Strong background in electrical systems and system design.
- Solid project management and time‐management skills.
- Strong problem‐solving and decision‐making abilities.
- Completion of OSHA 10‐hour Safety Training.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; ability to learn company systems.
- Professional communication skills with customers and internal teams.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to pass a background check for work on a secure government site.
