Job Summary

We are seeking Assemblers to join our manufacturing team in Faribault, MN on 1St and 2nd Shift. This role supports multiple assembly lines and plays a critical role in producing high-quality portable power distribution equipment and electromechanical assemblies in a high-volume manufacturing environment.  

Assemblers in this role may work across small build and large build assemblies, building products to print by mounting components, wiring assemblies, and performing quality checks to ensure products meet customer and engineering specifications.


Responsibilities
  • Assemble electrical and electromechanical products according to work orders, blueprints, schematics, and SOPs  
  • Build assemblies to print, including laying out components, physically mounting devices, and wiring to diagrams  
  • Read, understand, and follow engineering and manufacturing documentation, including:  
    • Bills of Material (BOMs)
    • Assembly drawings
    • Work instructions
  • Electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
  • Perform in-process quality inspections and verify assemblies meet required specifications  
  • Conduct basic electrical checks, including continuity or OHM testing, as required  
  • Accurately complete and maintain production documentation, including daily production reports, tally sheets, and scrap reports  
  • Enter production and material usage data into Epicor  
  • Maintain and safely operate hand and power tools used in assembly work
Requirements
  • 1–2+ years of experience in manufacturing, electrical assembly, or electromechanical assembly preferred
  • Wiring experience and ability to build assemblies to print preferred
  • Basic understanding of:  
    • Electrical assembly
    • Mechanical assembly
    • Blueprints and schematics
  • Experience working in a high-volume or production driven environment
  • Ability to read, write, and comprehend instructions written in English
  • Ability to perform basic math to interpret process sheets and track materials and scrap
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50lbs.
  • Comfortable standing, bending, reaching, and working with tools throughout the shift
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, diagrams, and assembly drawings  
  • Proficient use of hand and power tools  
  • Good hand dexterity and grip strength for detailed assembly work

Available Shifts:

  • 1st Shift: 5:00am – 3:30pm | Monday-Thursday
  • 2nd Shift: 3:30pm – 2:00am | Monday-Thursday
