Job Summary
We are searching for an Electrical Assembler familiar with lighting inverter systems to join our team. In this position, you will be building frames for units. This consists of riveting, electrical wiring, stripping, and lugging wires, measuring wire, and power inverters. This role is responsible for installing and wiring circuit boards and assembling small components on panels, wiring the components, and adding these components to the framed unit.
We are searching for an Electrical Assembler familiar with lighting inverter systems to join our team. In this position, you will be building frames for units. This consists of riveting, electrical wiring, stripping, and lugging wires, measuring wire, and power inverters. This role is responsible for installing and wiring circuit boards and assembling small components on panels, wiring the components, and adding these components to the framed unit.
Key Responsibilities
- Build assemblies, from start to finish, to print specifications including laying out and physically mounting devices to assemblies, wiring to print and OHM testing panels to ensure that it is built according to print.
- Assemble small components including electrical wiring related to circuit boards.
- Read, understand, and utilize engineering and manufacturing documents, including bill of material, assembly drawings, assembly work instructions, wiring schematics and diagrams.
- Follow work order directions and safely produce the quantity of parts required and withing the required specifications.
- Complete and maintain all required documentation necessary in the operation.
- Perform other duties and projects assigned.
- Complete the final wiring of cabinets by installing the panels, routing the wires, harnessing wires, and stripping/lugging wires as needed.
- Electrical wiring within enclosures.
- Wear required PPE, hand, eye, feet, and hearing protection
Qualifications & Knowledge
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2 years' experience working in a manufacturing environment utilizing handheld tools, power tools, and air tools.
- Must be able to interpret electrical schematics with the assistance of electricians
- Ability to interpret complex technical instructions
- Ability to read instructions, safely operate equipment, and visually inspect parts produced.
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Attention to detail
Schedule: 1st Shift | 5:30am-2:00pm
