This role requires accuracy, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with project managers, field teams, and clients to ensure competitive and profitable bids.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate and comprehensive cost estimates for commercial concrete projects.
- Analyze blueprints, project plans, specifications, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, and labor estimates.
- Utilize Planswift software to perform take-offs and develop detailed cost projections.
- Work closely with project management and operations teams to ensure estimates align with field execution.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and value engineering options.
- Maintain current knowledge of industry pricing, materials, labor rates, and subcontractor performance.
- Assist in the preparation of proposals, budgets, and bid packages.
- Communicate with subcontractors and vendors to obtain competitive pricing.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5+ years of commercial concrete estimating experience.
- Proficiency with Planswift estimating software or similar.
- Strong knowledge of commercial construction drawings, specifications, and industry standards.
- Excellent mathematical and analytical skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent (higher education a plus).
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple bids simultaneously.
