Our client is seeking a CMM Operator to perform dimensional inspections on precision components used in highly regulated manufacturing. This position plays a critical role in ensuring products meet engineering specifications and customer quality requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform dimensional inspections using Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) and other metrology equipment
- Inspect components, tooling, and assemblies throughout the manufacturing process
- Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and GD&T requirements
- Generate inspection reports and maintain accurate quality documentation
- Identify dimensional discrepancies and communicate findings to production and engineering teams
- Verify calibration status of inspection equipment and maintain inspection records
- Support first article inspections and customer quality requirements
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment while following all company and OSHA safety standards.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures including PPE requirements
Qualifications & Skills
- 2+ years of CMM inspection experience
- Experience reading engineering drawings and applying GD&T principles
- Knowledge of precision measuring equipment and inspection techniques
- Computer proficiency and experience with inspection reporting software
- Experience in aerospace, medical device, precision machining, or advanced manufacturing preferred
- Experience with PC-DMIS, PolyWorks, Verisurf, Faro Arm, or similar metrology systems is a plus
Employment Type & Compensation
- This is a Full-Time | Direct Hire position
- Compensation: $25.00 – $35.00 per hour, based on experience
- Application Window: Open until closed
Work Schedule
- 2nd Shift | 3:45 PM – 12:15 AM
