This is a team driving, touch-freight position, best suited for drivers who value structure, reliability, and long-term stability over chasing fluctuating miles.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate a Class A tractor-trailer safely on assigned routes
- Load product at origin and unload directly into customer locations
- Touch-freight using hand trucks or dollies
- Deliver product accurately and on time
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Maintain ELD logs and delivery documentation in compliance with DOT regulations
- Communicate professionally with dispatch and customer teams
- Ensure product integrity, including temperature-sensitive items
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL
- Minimum 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to meet DOT, safety, and compliance standards
- Physically capable of touch-freight deliveries
- Comfortable with overnight driving and extended shifts
- ELD experience preferred (PeopleNet a plus)
