Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled Press Brake Operator to support sheet metal fabrication in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities
We are seeking a skilled Press Brake Operator to support sheet metal fabrication in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for setting up and operating press brake equipment to produce high-quality parts that meet engineering specifications. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate press brake equipment, including tooling selection and machine adjustments
- Bend and form sheet metal according to drawings, specifications, and work instructions
- Inspect parts using measuring tools to ensure accuracy and quality standards
- Monitor production and adjust as needed to maintain efficiency and consistency
- Perform basic maintenance and troubleshoot minor equipment or process issues
- Record production data and complete required documentation in internal systems
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures including PPE requirements
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and support continuous improvement
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience operating a press brake or working in metal fabrication (preferred)
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints (SolidWorks experience preferred)
- Strong mechanical aptitude and experience with measuring tools (calipers, gauges, etc.)
- Basic computer skills; experience with ERP systems such as Epicor is a plus (preferred)
- Ability to lift materials and perform physical tasks, including standing for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail, reliability, and commitment to quality and safety
- Ability to read, write, and understand English workplace instructions
Employment Type & Compensation
- This is a Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire position
- Pay rate is $25.00 per hour
- Application Window: Open until filled
Work Schedule
- Weekend | Friday – Sunday | 5:00 AM – 5:30 PM
