Job Summary

As a Blending Technician, you will oversee the blending of raw materials, ensuring that the correct amounts are used, and the ratio is in line with quality control guidelines. In addition, you will maintain equipment used in the blending process, troubleshooting issues as needed, and perform routine maintenance to ensure optimal functionality. This position plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient production of blended materials, contributing to the overall success of the manufacturing process.

Responsibilities
  • Follow blending instructions and add proper ingredients and record correctly  
  • Complete sanitation and CIP per schedule  
  • Work with others to product quality products that meet our customers’ needs  
  • Maintaining the work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition and following safety regulations  
  • Transport ingredients using forklift  
  • Adhering to all company policies including but not limited to: GMP, PPE, Food Safety, Safety, Gluten Free, Sanitation, etc.  
  • Complete blending sheets  
  • Remaining familiar with the basic machine functions to perform the tasks stated above  
  • Performing other work-related duties as assigned  
  • Using an automated inventory system to tack and manager ingredients

Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED preferred  
  • Prior blending / batching experience a plus  
  • Prior experience working in a beverage manufacturing facility a plus  
  • Previous experience within highspeed industrial environment preferred  
  • Great attention to detail
  • Good team player who can work well with others and contribute to a positive work environment  
  • Basic math skills and reading comprehension  
  • Ability to read, write, and speak in English  
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Ability to work for extended periods of time standing, walking, sitting, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch.  
  • Ability to lift and/or move objects weighing up to 25 lbs.  
  • You must wear non-slip shoes. Additional PPE provided

Schedule
  • Days | 6:00am-6:00pm
  • Nights | 6:00pm-6:00am
