Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Project Manager with K-12 school construction experience who can support RFIs, submittals, district coordination, and project documentation on a Richardson ISD replacement campus project.  

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Project Manager in administrative and coordination tasks including RFIs, submittals, pay apps, and document control.  
  • Assist with communication between subcontractors, inspectors, and Richardson ISD representatives to ensure alignment and compliance.  
  • Help track schedules, budgets, and project documentation to support successful project delivery.  

Qualifications & Skills
  • 3–5 years of construction project support experience, ideally on K-12 or educational facilities, including school replacements, additions, or renovations.  
  • Experience assisting with public-sector processes (ISD; bond programs) is preferred.  
  • Certifications Needed:  
    OSHA 10 required (OSHA 30 preferred). Any construction management or educational facility construction coursework a plus.  
  • Licenses Required:  
    Valid driver’s license with ability to travel to Richardson for jobsite and district meetings.
  • Proficient with Procore, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Excel to manage RFIs, submittals, meeting minutes, document control, and daily logs.  
  • Strong organizational and communication skills to support schedules, budgets, and coordination in a K-12 construction environment.  
  • Comfortable assisting with coordination of subcontractors, inspectors, and district representatives to support smooth project execution.
