Assistant Project Manager – Commercial Construction
Location: Brighton, CO
Employment Type: Full-Time
Salary: $85k-$100k + Bonus Opportunities
 
About the Role
We are seeking a motivated Assistant Project Manager with 3–4 years of commercial construction experience to support project delivery from preconstruction through closeout. This role is ideal for someone ready to take the next step in their career with increasing ownership of project outcomes while working closely with an experienced Project Manager and Superintendent.

Key Responsibilities
• Assist in planning, execution, and delivery of commercial construction projects
• Support budget development, cost tracking, invoicing, and financial reporting
• Prepare and manage project documentation including RFIs, submittals, change orders, and meeting minutes
• Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, design teams, and clients to maintain quality and schedule adherence
• Support site logistics planning, procurement activities, and schedule updates
• Help ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies
• Contribute to project coordination meetings, issue resolution, and project turnover tasks
• Build strong relationships and collaborate effectively across project teams

Qualifications
• 3–4 years of experience in commercial construction required
• Track record supporting project management and field coordination activities
• Experience in healthcare construction preferred but not required
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field preferred, but not required
• Familiarity with project management software such as Timberline, Suretrack, Sage, and Microsoft Office preferred
• Strong organization, communication, and multi-tasking skills
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work both independently and in team environments
