Job Summary
NCW is seeking a Flexible Packaging Shift Supervisor for a manufacturing partner in Trevor, WI. This role is responsible for leading hourly production teams in a fast-paced, flexible packaging environment, ensuring safety, quality, and production goals are met for each shift. The ideal candidate has prior manufacturing supervisory experience, understands flexible packaging or similar production operations, and is comfortable leading from the floor.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise daily production activities on assigned shift
- Support, coach, and hold hourly production employees accountable
- Monitor production output, quality, scrap, and downtime
- Troubleshoot production issues and minimize downtime
- Ensure safety policies and procedures are always followed
- Communicate production priorities and expectations to the team
- Track and report KPIs related to production, quality, and efficiency
- Ensure smooth shift handoffs and cross-shift communication
- Assist with scheduling, attendance tracking, and time-off requests
- Maintain accurate production and employee documentation
Required Qualifications and Skills
- 3–5+ years of supervisory experience in manufacturing
- Experience in flexible packaging, converting, printing, film, or similar production environments preferred
- Proven ability to lead hourly production teams
- Strong understanding of production workflows and safety standards
- Ability to troubleshoot issues and make real-time decisions
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Basic computer skills (production tracking, reporting, Microsoft Office)
