Position Summary:
The Labeler is responsible for printing labels using a computer-operated printer and accurately applying them to boxes according to work instructions. This position requires attention to detail, dependability, and the ability to follow established procedures to ensure labels are correct and properly placed.
Responsibilities:
- Print labels using designated printing equipment and approved instructions.
- Verify label information for accuracy before applying labels.
- Apply labels to boxes in the correct location and orientation.
- Inspect labeled boxes to ensure labels are legible, secure, and properly positioned.
- Follow work instructions, production procedures, and quality standards.
- Maintain an organized work area and report labeling errors or equipment issues to the appropriate supervisor.
Requirements:
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Dependable, punctual, and able to maintain consistent attendance.
- Consistent work history demonstrating reliability and dependability.
- Ability to read, understand, and follow written and verbal instructions.
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks while maintaining quality.
- Basic computer skills and willingness to learn label-printing equipment.
- Ability to work independently and meet daily production expectations.
