Job Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures in accordance with electrical codes and blueprints
- Perform power distribution and equipment wiring
- Install and work with electrical conduit and pipe
- Support rough-in, layout, and trim-out phases of construction
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, blueprints, schematics, and specifications
- Ensure all work meets local, state, and National Electrical Code requirements
- Collaborate with project managers, foremen, and other trades to keep the project on schedule
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
Qualifications
- Approximately 2 to 4 years of hands-on electrical experience preferred
- Industrial electrical experience is highly preferred and should be the primary focus when screening candidates
- Experience with electrical pipe/conduit work strongly preferred
- Commercial electrical experience
- Experience with rough-in, service, and finish work
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, blueprints, and schematics
- Working knowledge of the National Electrical Code
- Ability to work independently and as part of a crew
- Reliable transportation
- Own hand tools required
- Valid driver’s license
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification preferred
Schedule and Hours
The scheduled start time is 7:00 AM. Candidates should expect a minimum of 40 hours per week, with the current expectation being approximately 48 hours per week. Overtime requirements and exact overtime schedule are still to be determined.
