Position Summary:
We are seeking a dependable Laborer to support general manual labor and site operations in the Buffalo, NY area. This position involves physical work such as moving materials, loading and unloading vehicles, digging, and assisting with various tasks as needed. The ideal candidate is reliable, comfortable working outdoors in changing weather conditions, and able to respond when called in for snow removal.
Responsibilities:
- Perform general manual labor and assist with daily site operations.
- Lift, carry, and move materials and other items as needed.
- Load and unload vehicles and equipment.
- Dig, fill, and maintain holes or work areas.
- Assist team members with various labor and cleanup tasks.
- Perform snow shoveling and other weather-related duties when called in.
- Follow safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous labor, warehouse, construction, or outdoor work experience is helpful but not required.
- Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods.
- Ability to regularly handle objects weighing up to 30 pounds.
- Comfortable working around dirt, odors, noise, and varying weather conditions.
- Reliable transportation and ability to report to work when called in for snow removal.
- Must provide and wear 6-inch steel-toe boots.
Schedule:
- Monday – Friday | 8:00 am – 7:00pm
- Every other Saturday | 8:00 am – 12:00 pm
Compensation:
- $19.70 per hour
