Position Summary
We are searching for a candidate with GTAW and TIG welding experience to weld carbon pipe for a long term project in Bridgeport, AL
Key Responsibilities
- Use engineering drawings to build and weld pipe
- Responsibilities include TIG welding, bending, shearing, and forming mild steel to aluminum and stainless steel
- Complete and maintain all required paperwork and documentation
- Utilize Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and follow and comply with all safety and work rules and regulations
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications & Skills
- Must pass an in-house weld test
- Good mechanical ability and knowledge to operate standard welding equipment
- Self-starter with critical thinking and creative problem-solving skills
- Positive attitude, initiative, and dependable, have safe working habits
- Basic measurement and math skills
- Interest in working as part of a small and growing company
Employment Type & Compensation
- This is a 1 year project
- Pay rate is $27.00 per hour plus per diem paid 7 days
- Minimum 40 hours per week with some overtime
