Position Summary
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Sanitation Worker to help maintain a clean, safe, and organized facility in Hazelwood, MO. This position is responsible for cleaning and maintaining offices, restrooms, break rooms, warehouse and transportation areas, facility grounds, and other assigned areas. Responsibilities:
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Sanitation Worker to help maintain a clean, safe, and organized facility in Hazelwood, MO. This position is responsible for cleaning and maintaining offices, restrooms, break rooms, warehouse and transportation areas, facility grounds, and other assigned areas. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, follows safety procedures, and can work independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities:
- Clean and maintain offices, restrooms, break rooms, entrances, locker areas, and other common areas by sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, wiping surfaces, emptying trash, and replenishing supplies.
- Maintain cleanliness throughout warehouse and transportation areas, including floors, dock plates, racks, and pallet storage areas.
- Maintain facility grounds by removing trash, keeping walkways clean, maintaining designated outdoor areas, and emptying receptacles.
- Clean windows, walls, surfaces, and other facility areas as needed to maintain a safe and presentable work environment.
- Perform interior and exterior painting and other general facility maintenance tasks as assigned.
- Follow safety procedures, perform visual inspections, and maintain organized work areas while working efficiently and cooperatively with others.
Requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Ability to read, write, and understand English sufficiently to follow work instructions, safety procedures, and job-related communications.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to perform accurate visual inspections.
- Organized, dependable, and able to identify and address routine cleaning or facility issues.
- Ability to work safely and effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Schedule:
- Monday – Friday | 9:00 am – 5:30 pm
Compensation:
- $16.50 per hour
