Division Sales Manager
 

Reports To:  VP of Sales and Marketing
  1. Regional Sales Managers Key Responsibilities.
  • Adhere to sales and HR policies including the following:
    • Selling the entire package of products to all targeted industries (Accounts Assigned to Regional Sales Manager)
    • Follow corporate wide initiatives within their territory
    • Establish plans with targets and growth objectives by salesperson
    • Conduct continual employee reviews
    • Assist salespeople in their professional development
    • Layout territories which allow for efficient use of resources
    • Conduct regular (at least monthly) sales meetings with their team
    • Take part in recruiting and interviewing activities for their respective territories
  • Insure salespeople adhere to sales policies including the following:
    • Selling the entire package of products to all targeted industries
    • Establishing annual quotas based on individual territory 
    • Setting proper targets for expansion
    • Proper use of inside sales, engineering and other resources
    • Utilizing Companywide CRM (salesforce.com) to manage the following
      • Identify Focus and Target Accounts
      • Manage Prospects & Customer Contacts (Keep up-to Date)
      • Load and Manage Opportunities
      • Have Accurate Sales Call logs identifying what supplier products were discussed and if joint call with supplier occurred
  • Gauge sales performance and skills through the following:
    • Joint calls with salespeople
    • Review of opportunity lists
    • Review of sales call activities by account and supplier
    • Measure sales results to quota
