Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Team Lead – Lamination to oversee daily production activities within the lamination department. This hands-on leadership role is responsible for ensuring production goals, quality standards, and safety expectations are met while supporting and developing team members. Key Responsibilities
We are seeking an experienced Team Lead – Lamination to oversee daily production activities within the lamination department. This hands-on leadership role is responsible for ensuring production goals, quality standards, and safety expectations are met while supporting and developing team members. The ideal candidate has manufacturing leadership experience, strong problem-solving skills, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support daily lamination production operations to meet quality, safety, and productivity goals.
- Monitor production processes, equipment settings, and finished products to ensure quality standards are maintained.
- Train, coach, and assist team members while promoting safe work practices and standard operating procedures.
- Troubleshoot equipment and production issues, coordinating maintenance as needed to minimize downtime.
- Monitor material inventory and ensure production areas are properly stocked and organized.
- Complete production reports and communicate equipment, quality, or production concerns to leadership.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures including PPE requirements
Qualifications & Skills
- Previous leadership experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
- Knowledge of lamination processes or related manufacturing operations is preferred.
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles; Six Sigma or CAPA knowledge is a plus.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and the ability to read measuring tools such as gauges, scales, and tape measures.
- Forklift (tow motor) experience is a plus.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and reaching throughout the shift.
Employment Type & Compensation
- Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire
- Compensation: $24.68 per hour
- Application Period: This position will remain open until filled
Work Schedule
- 2nd Shift | Monday – Friday | 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM
- Saturday, Sunday | OT as needed
