Position Summary
We are seeking hardworking and dependable General Laborers to join a fast-paced warehouse team in Indianapolis, IN. The ideal candidate will be safety-conscious, reliable, and willing to assist in various warehouse operations to support daily production and shipping needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Support other warehouse departments as needed to meet daily production goals.
- Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently.
- Move, stage, and organize materials throughout the warehouse.
- Assist with shipping, receiving, and general warehouse operations.
- Handle large and bulky products using proper lifting techniques and team lifts when necessary.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment while following all company and OSHA safety standards.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures including PPE requirements
Qualifications & Skills
- Previous warehouse, shipping/receiving, general labor, or manufacturing experience is preferred.
- Experience loading and unloading trucks is preferred.
- Experience handling large products such as furniture, cabinetry, appliances, building materials, or mattresses is a plus.
- Reliable attendance with the flexibility to work where needed.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team while maintaining a strong commitment to workplace safety.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift, bend, stand, and work throughout an entire shift.
- Ability to lift and/or move 70-80 pounds regularly. Occasionally moving heavier items using team lifts as needed.
Employment Type & Compensation
- This is a Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire position
- Compensation: $16.00 per hour
- Application Window: Open until filled
Work Schedule
- Currently working 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM for peak season
- Standard Hours 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
