Position Summary
We are seeking an Assembly Material Handler for a growing manufacturing facility in Indianapolis. This position plays a critical role in supporting production by ensuring assembly lines remain fully stocked with the materials and components needed to meet production schedules.

We are seeking an Assembly Material Handler for a growing manufacturing facility in Indianapolis. This position plays a critical role in supporting production by ensuring assembly lines remain fully stocked with the materials and components needed to meet production schedules.
Key Responsibilities
- Read and interpret production work orders
- Pull, stage, and deliver materials to assembly lines
- Perform inventory transactions and material tracking within the company system
- Enter material numbers accurately into inventory software
- Operate forklifts and other powered industrial trucks (PIT) safely and efficiently in accordance to manufactures operating procedures
- Monitor production line inventory and replenish materials as needed
- Communicate effectively with assembly team members and supervisors
- Maintain accurate inventory records
- Keep work areas organized and clean ensuring a safe working environment
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures including PPE requirements to perform the job safely
Qualifications & Skills
- Manufacturing, warehouse, or material handling experience preferred
- Previous forklift or powered industrial truck (PIT) experience is required
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to read and understand work orders and inventory information
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Good communication and teamwork abilities
- Physical ability to lift weight up to 50 lbs. Frequently
- Ability to lift, move, and transport materials throughout the facility
Employment Type & Compensation
- This is a Full-Time | Temporary position
- Pay rate is $18.00 – $20.00 per hour, based on experience
- Application Window: Open until filled
Work Schedule
- 1st Shift | Monday – Friday | 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM | Saturday overtime
