As a Pipefitter, you will be responsible for installing, assembling, maintaining, and repairing piping systems in
industrial, commercial, AND/OR mechanical environments. This role requires strict adherence to safety
protocols, blueprints, and applicable codes to ensure systems operate efficiently and safely. You will work
with various pipe materials, specialized tools, and precision measuring instruments to support both new
construction and ongoing facility operations.

Duties & Responsibilities
Lay out, assemble, install, or maintain pipe systems, pipe supports, or related hydraulic or pneumatic
equipment for steam, hot water, heating, cooling, lubricating, sprinkling, industrial production or
processing systems.
Study blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine the type of pipe and tools to use, and lay out
the sequence of tasks
Measure, cut, thread, groove, bend, assemble and install metal, plastic and fiberglass pipes, valves and
fittings
Join pipe sections, related equipment and secure in position
Use testing equipment to check systems for leaks
Drill and punch holes in metal, for screws, bolts, and rivets.
Trim, file, grind, deburr, buff, and smooth surfaces, seams, and joints of assembled parts, using hand
tools
and various power tools.
Willing to cross-train and perform the work of other job tasks in addition to the primary assigned
position.
Experience
Proven experience as a Sprinkler Fitter or in a similar role within construction or fire protection systems.
Proficiency in installing, repairing, and maintaining fire sprinkler systems, including wet, dry, pre-action,
and deluge systems.
