Position Summary
We are searching for an Order Puller with an industrial background to support our client’s warehouse operations in West Chester Township, OH. In this position, you will perform an array of functions that may include receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders, or managing, organizing and retrieving stock in the warehouse.
Key Responsibilities
We are searching for an Order Puller with an industrial background to support our client’s warehouse operations in West Chester Township, OH. In this position, you will perform an array of functions that may include receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders, or managing, organizing and retrieving stock in the warehouse.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist shipping and receiving unloading trucks and checking in merchandise
- Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves or in bins according to organizational standards
- Maintains a safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat; Sweep, dust and mop.
- Organize warehouse and always work area for orderliness
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures including PPE requirements to perform the job safely
Qualifications & Skills
- One to two years of warehouse related experience in shipping and receiving
- Excellent work ethic; ability to work self-directed and as a flexible team player
- Minimum of 2 years of forklift experience (Forklift, Reach Truck, Order Picker)
- Experience with Carbon Flanges and Fittings required
- Experience on Sit-Down Forklift, Stand-up Reach Truck or Picker preferred
- Regularly required to use hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms and talk or hear
- Regularly lift and/or move objects 10-50 lbs. occasionally lift and/or move objects that weigh more than 100 lbs.
- Frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl
- Occasionally required to sit and climb or balance
- Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust and focus
- Steel toe shoes or boots required
Employment Type & Compensation
- This is a Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire position
- Pay rate is $18.00 – $20.00 per hour, based on experience
- Application Window: Open until filled
Work Schedule
- 1st Shift | Monday – Friday | 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
